Can Tank Spotter Support More Than One Propane Branch?

Tank Spotter lists Branch Offices / Divisions, User Management and Team Management. Whether that fits your branch setup is something to prove in a demo, with examples from more than one location.

Begin with how you run today

Sketch your branch names, shared staff and who is responsible for what. Include an employee who sometimes works outside the home branch.

Use it to ask how a job is assigned and how the receiving branch finds the customer record. Ask what the office can see. Do not assume anything about permissions or branch walls.

Test the manager's review

Tank Spotter's reports list compliance issue tracking. Ask a manager to find one example issue from each branch. Ask who owns the next step.

This is a suggested test. Check the report views and filters yourself. Do not assume every report can be grouped by branch.

Include a move between branches

Use an anonymized customer who moves from one service area to another. Ask where the earlier records stay available. Ask what each employee does when the next job changes hands.

Write down who keeps employee assignments up to date and who reviews access when someone changes roles. Have your company approve the setup before you invite more people.

Questions and answers

Does a branch listing prove role-based limits?

No. It shows branch and team features. Ask the product team to show the exact access controls you need, including any limit on seeing another branch's customers.

What is a practical buying test?

Have two branch managers run the same lookup with different sample accounts. Check that both can explain the customer, the work and the next person responsible.

Next step

Bring two branch managers and one customer who moves between branches. Then book a demo and run the same lookup twice. You will see if each manager gets a clear answer.
