One field repair attempt cost a dealer a truck off-route, a hospitalized driver, and his company's name in the news. A 52-year-old Suburban Propane driver was making a scheduled delivery in Scituate, R.I. around 1:30 p.m. when a valve on the propane tank started leaking, Scituate police said. He tried to repair the leak and something sparked a flame, causing an explosion and house fire that displaced two residents.
